I received some bittersweet news last month that Jennifer at Better Than Chocolate Books is closing her doors.
Here are the details:
It is with great sadness that I announce the closing of Better Than Chocolate Book Co. The bookstore will close on June 30, 2013.
After June 30, the bookstore will be closed and will not be able to process orders of any kind.
Here are some things to keep in mind when ordering: – Half-price shipping on all orders over $30 – Use your BetterBucks & Trade Credit
– As of April 1, 2013, we will no longer be issuing any BetterBucks on your purchases. – Please use your BetterBucks and/or Trade Credit before June 30th, as they cannot be traded out for cash.
Now for the sweet news:
Just a quick note to let you know that I am hoping to find new homes for as many books as I can, before the store closes. You can help with this! I have marked all mass market paperbacks down to $1.00 and all trade sized paperbacks down to $2.00
