Regency Pastimes: Skittles

Before there was a rainbow of fruit flavors, Skittles meant a lawn bowling game that would eventually give birth to the modern 10 pin bowling.  There are also some old fashion indoor versions, including pub games that include 9 pins.  The game rules and image are taken from a 1801 publication called “Sporting Magazine.”
