Unfortunately I haven’t been able to find a full digital copy of The Idiot Heiress, but I did find a review from 1808 published in The Lady’s Monthly Museum:

The Idiot Heiress By the Author of the Citizen's Daughter THOSE readers who delight in hair breadth scapes and perilous adventures will find ample gratification in this tale which is full of incident and bustle and with the ex ception of a few improbabilities may be recommended as an amusing little novel As the production of a youth ful female we must not examine its defects with too strict a scrutiny and where there is no immorality to censure pass over those trivial inaccuracies which neither detract in any material degree from the interest of the story nos lessen the merit of the writer
