    In the 18th century the Herschels had discovered a new planet and many comets. There had been many discussions how the discovery of the planet now called Uranus changed the picture of the universe. All the known pictures of the universe had too be changed. In 1800 it was thought that there were three other planets: Ceres, Palla, and Vesta. The maps of the heavens was changing drastically as new telescopes were invented.
