The mark of any up and coming destination was the amenities tonnish types would look for.  Assembly Rooms, inns and lodgings, a theatre, and other amusements including libraries.

As Leamington Spa continued to grow, there was some variety in the libraries.  The owners were also affiliated with other businesses, at times, including the Assembly Rooms, toy shop, and fashionable warehouses.
