I feel blessed that while at home, I have enough of a patch of dirt to try my hand at gardening. I had planned on focusing this first year on herbs, for medicinal and other purposes, but have since added a few vegetables to my raised beds to help round out my diet and supplement our bi-weekly CSA box and bi-weekly shopping trips.
