Regency Household: Raising Potatoes to a Very Great Advantage

I feel blessed that while at home, I have enough of a patch of dirt to try my hand at gardening. I had planned on focusing this first year on herbs, for medicinal and other purposes, but have since added a few vegetables to my raised beds to help round out my diet and supplement our bi-weekly CSA box and bi-weekly shopping trips.

In the past I have shared a bit about the profession of gardenera plan for a Regency garden, a description of kitchen gardens, and a wide variety of instructionals for the household and recipes.

In looking to the past farming practices, I found this delightful short explanation on how to plant and best raise potatoes and thought I would share:
