Watching Bridgerton this weekend, I was struck by the music. Pop music arranged for strings is a fascinating choice that I think does a good job at evoking the emotions Regency people would have had hearing the tunes frequently played at balls, musicales, and at home on instruments.
Many years ago, we posted some links to some Regency popular music. We wanted to resurface that post and add to it, with some more renditions of popular tunes from the early 19th Century.
