Regency Reader Questions: Bee in the Skirt Compromise

Thanks for the question, Laura, and for being a Regency Reader!

I polled friends on social media, and the consensus was that you are likely remembering events in Julia Quinn’s The Viscount Who Loved Me

which is part of the Bridgerton family series

No one else could recall a bee in the skirt and a compromise in any other Regency romance.

Update: A Regency Reader, Dot, shared that Meara Platt also has a series that features a bee attack and a compromise.  Thank you, Dot!

I did a little research, and found that, indeed, The Song of Love, book 4 of Meara Platt’s Book of Love or Farthingale Series, features a bee attack and a compromise:

I have never read this series, so will be giving it a try.

Readers, if you can recall another bee in the skirt ruination, leave a comment below!

Not at a house party, but in a garden. Isn’t this is a Meata Platt
    series ?

Thanks Dot! I did a little sleuthing, and see that one of Meara Platt’s books does feature a bee compromise. I will update the post!
