Top 10: Favorite Regency Reads of the Year

We read so many incredible books this year that we shared here with you.  Here are our top ten favorites:

Lynn Messina’s Beatrice Hyde-Clare cozy mystery series delivered so much fun.  This was a nice change of pace from romance centric Regencies, although there is still the ongoing romance element to please any reader.

Beth Andrews’ Hidden in the Heart was another delightful cozy mystery with romantic element. Kisses only and YA leaning, this was a sweet and easy read.

Jane Ashford’s A Gentleman Ought to Know brings a prickly heroine and softie hero together with a mystery element.

Minerva Spencer’s Notorious mashed up several favorite tropes in Book 1 of this series.

Samantha Holt’s Temptations of a Duke’s Daughter has a hate to love set up and a mystery to bring the MCs together in this book 2 of a series.

Susanna Craig’s The Lady Knows Best was an easy read with a sweet and subtle romance.

Erica Ridley’s Undressing the Duke is a short m/m romance that has some fun scenes in this story of a Duke and his valet admitting their true feelings.

Gill Mather’s Intrigue at Longbourn gives a prequel of Pride and Prejudice with interesting character development and a nice period details.

Marianne Ratcliffe’s A Lady to Treasure brings a f/f between a wealthy American heiress and a hardworking lady trying to save her family’s estate.

Anastasia Hayward’s Miss Locke’s Christmas Secret was a fresh, kisses only novella with a seasonal theme.

We look forward to sharing more great Regency novels with you in the New Year.

CONVERGENCE OF DESIRE by Felicity Niven. A rake falls for his neurodivergent bride. But he has vowed never to touch her. Total opposites find love. So good. Contains kisses, embraces, lovemaking.
