A Remedy for inflamed Eyes Mix one dram of falt of tartar with a pint of frogs fpawn let them dissolvė together and anoint the eyes with the composition several times every day the till inHamation is removed IT To remove Films from the Eyesu Take of powder of pearls and powder of coral each 2n ounce one dram of crabs eyes two ounces of virgin honey and let them be all mixed together as an gintment which must be appļied to the eyes morning and evening and oftner if necessary An excellent Eye waterTake three spoonful of eye bright water and the fame quantity of rofe water put to it as mych sugar candy fifted as will lye on a silver threepence with an cqual quantity of fifted aloes thake them all together in a bottle and anoint the eyes with the water when you go to bed

I am no expert in medicinal treatments, but this is the first time I had read frogspawn being used to reduce inflammation.  Eyebright is a more commonly used herb for minor ailments.
