JANUARY 1820 EXPLANATION OF THE PRINTS OF FASHION FRENCH ENGLISH No 1 ParisiAN EVENING COSTUME No 2 EVENING DREss Dress of gros d Eté of a faded violet co Round dress of very fine clear India lour with white satin sleeves and orna sprigged muslin over a white satin slip mented round the border and bust with rich trimmed next the feet in two rows of white gauze en carreaux set in separate squares satin rozette medallion ornaments over Buffint sash of white silk net fastened on which runs one distinct row of the same the left side White satin dress hat orna the whole surmounted by white satin points mented with violets and a superb plume en coquillage Short sleeves to correspond of marabout feathers Necklare and brace with the skirt finished round the arm by lets of rubies set in gold à l Antique White white satin edged with fine narrow lace satin slippers and white kid gloves and separated from the muslin by a new
