I have been trying to find (again) A book borrowed and not returned. The usual plot: Lord X came into the title after death of brother. Brother had married the Love of X’s Life. X lost leg during Wars. Young child floating around, may be X’s, may be Love of Life’s, etc. X refusing to get off high horse and see how much they still love each other. Do you recognize the plot/author? I haven’t see it in 20-30 years. It’s VERY frustrating… Thank you so much, Kitty
