Now the “oldest cosmetics manufacturer in the UK” (http://johngosnell.com/about-us/history/) dating back to 1677, during the Regency era the company of Price & Gosnell had a location on Leadenhall Street as well as one, briefly, on Lombard St. Patey was a partner for only 1 year (1817), so this ad has a unique place in that company’s history.
