Sir— ln answer to -* A Friend to Decorum, " 1 beg tv say that Gentlemen wearing great coals in the Fit of the Opera House is no new thing ; 1 have for several successive year- seen men tbere of every rank, with Ihem, wbich are necessary in a thin house and cold night. But I have nothing to say iar extenuation of those who bring their great coats into tbe Pit-. and do not wish to wear them ; they bad much better give six- pence to the men that lake care of them.
