Regency Reader Questions: Books with Servants as Main Characters

A new Regency Reader took our annual survey (it’s still available for another week if you want to take it here) and recommended we add the theme on our Books by Plot Type page of Servants as Main Characters.  This is a great suggestion.

I will be adding a tag moving forward to books with servants as main characters so that they should be easier to search for.  We are also working to convert past reviews to the new review format so you can better search by heat, rating, etc.

In the meantime, I will share that the Books by Plot Type page does have this category (Rakes and Companions (or Wards or Servants)).  Several of the books listed here have class differences.  Typically, its the rake and the governess or companion, but there are a few other titles that have housekeepers or other servants as well.

If you have recommendations for new categories/plot types you would like us to feature on this page, or have thoughts about ways to make this page easier to navigate, please let us know in the comments below!  We have identified this as a page that needs some updating, and would love your feedback to help us make it the best it can be.
