Happy holidays from Regency Reader! We are nestling down over the next few weeks to spend time with our friends and family. We also have been working on finishing up several WIPs, and will doing some much needed blog and resource work over the next month — so please excuse our virtual dust.
If you didn’t catch our list of holiday novellas last year, we wanted to share it again for some inspiration for quick Regency reads that are filled with holiday spirit. I also recommend the recently read novella by Shana Galen for more festive fun.
Maybe you are wondering what Christmas was like in the Regency era? We have a short post on that. Do you want to introduce some authentic Regency Christmas carols or maybe you want to do some last minute baking, and try to make a figgy pudding? Or perhaps you fancy a mince pie or fruitcake or stuffing? Interested about Regency and the use of mistletoe? We got you!
You can also find many reviews from over the years on full Regency novels with holiday elements.
Whatever holiday you celebrate, in whatever way you do, we want you to know how much we appreciate your readership, support, comments, sharing and love for the Regency. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you and we look forward to continuing to celebrate the Regency with you in the New Year!
If you have a few extra minutes, please take our quick annual reader survey. It helps us make improvements to the website:
Happy holidays,
Anne
